Spring is my favourite season, wildflowers that emerge from the earth that scatter the floor with their vibrant colours, its when I feel the bush comes alive. At the time of painting this piece a beautiful woman was in a world of pain and all I could think of was her, how hard she found it to see her true colours, her strength, beauty and the light she emanated to those around her. I want this piece to bring truth and love to anyone who encounters her.
